After relocating to New York City in the mid-1970s, she appeared in the ensemble of the 1979 Broadway production of Whoopee! and went on to choreograph a 1987 Off-Broadway production of Flora the Red Menace.

She and Harold Prince (TV Producer) co-directed the original London production of Paradise Found. Matt Steffanina, Hoshi, Kameron N. Saunders, and Laurieann Gibson were also Her acquaintances.
