Kenya Moore is a multi-talented American actress, model, television personality, film producer, and director who has built a name for herself in the entertainment sector. At the age of 14, she debuted in show business as a model for the Ebony Fashion Fair cosmetic line. In 1993, she was crowned Miss Michigan USA. She went on to win Miss USA later that year, becoming only the second African-American woman to do so. She placed among the top six contestants at the Miss Universe pageant in 1993, representing her country. Following this exposure and fame, she pursued a career as an actor, appearing in shows such as 'The Celebrity Apprentice 7' and 'The Parent 'Hood,' as well as films such as 'I Know Who Killed Me' and 'Deliver Us From Eva.' She then went on to work as a producer and director on a number of films, including the suspense film Trapped: Haitian Nights. Moore Vision Media, her own production business, produced the sensual thriller The Confidant. She is currently one of the major characters on the American reality television series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," which she has been a part of since 2012.
She was raised by her grandmother and aunt in Detroit, Michigan. She dated James Freeman, whom she met on Millionaire Matchmaker, but she quickly ended the relationship once she found out he was married.
