Michael David Holton (born August 4, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player, and current television studio analyst for the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA. Born in Seattle, Washington, he played college basketball at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1979 to 1983, and was selected in the third round of the 1983 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors, but began his NBA career with the Phoenix Suns in 1984–85. Holton, a 6'4" 185 lb (84 kg) guard, also spent his career with the Chicago Bulls, Portland Trail Blazers, and Charlotte Hornets. He also played in the CBA for four teams in as many seasons from 1983 to 1992. He started 60 games for the expansion Charlotte Hornets. Holton briefly played for Great Taste Coffee in the Philippine Basketball Association.

Michael Holt, sometimes known as 'Molt' on social media, is a full-time YouTuber and part-time graphics designer from the United States. On his gaming channel 'GAMINGwithMOLT,' he first achieved fame for his gameplay videos and lessons on games like 'Clash of Clans' and 'Clash Royale,' though he eventually expanded his material to include other mobile games. He also has a gaming channel called 'MoltPlays,' where he usually plays Xbox games like 'Overwatch' and 'Call of Duty.' Due to technological difficulties, he recently changed his vlogging channel from 'Michael Holt' to 'The Holts,' and now makes daily videos alongside his wife, Rachel. He frequently works with other YouTube gamers such as 'nickatnyte,' 'Orange Juice Gaming,' and 'Chief Pat,' as well as doing sponsored videos for new and upcoming titles. G FUEL energy drinks have signed a partnership arrangement with him. He has been the Head of Graphic Design at Pinckney Marketing since May 2011, in addition to his YouTube job. Hiring and maintaining a small staff of graphic designers is one of his tasks. He was instrumental in the creation of an Addy Award-winning advertising.
He was born in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Texas when he was in the 5th grade. He has posted on social media about his dog and his girlfriend.

After graduating, he became the head of graphic design at a marketing firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. He quit his job there to pursue YouTube full-time in July 2014.
