She was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 

She began surfing at an early age in Brazil and rose to prominence in 2011 when she competed in the Women's Longboard Tour for the first time. Her debut competition was the Swatch Girls Pro China, where she finished third. In March of 2011, she began posting images to her Instagram account.

She has earned sponsorship and representation from several surf oriented companies and brands including Roxy, Madame Boho, and Eklo Water which she also promotes on her Instagram.
