  • Prince Harry

    Prince Henry of Wales, KCVO, full name Henry Charles Albert David, popularly known as Prince Harry is the second and youngest son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales. When he was born he became third in line after his father and elder brother Prince William, Duke of Cambridge to succeed his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II to the British throne. After William's children, George and Charlotte were born he became fifth in line of succession. He attended schools in the UK and graduated from Eton College. He then went to Africa and Argentina, served an orphanage in Lesotho and a cattle station in Australia. Returning to the UK he joined RMA Sandhurst to undergo officer training and upon its completion he was commissioned as Cornet in the Blues and Royals. He served tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2007-08 where he was secretly deployed as a Forward Air Controller. However when such news leaked he was pulled back and was again deployed in Afghanistan in 2012-13. He left the army as a Captain in 2015 however remains associated with endeavours assisting wounded servicemen. He is also a patron of several charities.

    Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, is the eldest son of <a title='Prince Charles' href='/famous/prince-charles.htm'>Prince Charles</a>, the Prince of Wales. William happens to be the second in the line of succession to the throne, after his father. William was involved in philanthropy since a very early age and used to spend his gap years doing humanitarian work in Chile and some African countries. Initially, William wanted to be an army officer and underwent training for the same. He successfully finished his course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was subsequently commissioned as a second lieutenant. Later, as his interest shifted towards Royal Airforce service, William served his country as a Flight Lieutenant. For some time, William took on the full time duties as an Air ambulance pilot at the Eastern Anglian Air Ambulance, for which he went through intense training. Serving his duties as the eldest son of Prince of Wales, William got appointed as the Counsellor of State. He embarked on a Wales tour with his father and sometime later, did a solo tour. He also happens to be an avid philanthropist and has been involved with many organizations to provide healthcare, food and safety to the less privileged. Right before his marriage to Catherine Middleton, he was honoured with the title the Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus.

    Prince Charles, the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip is the heir apparent to the British throne. His mother is the Queen of 16 of the 53 member states in the Commonwealth of Nations, and also the Head of the Commonwealth and Supreme Governor of the Church of England. Charles became the heir apparent in 1952 after his grandfather King George VI died and Elizabeth ascended the throne. Being Queen Elizabeth's oldest son, Charles became the heir apparent to the British throne and received the title of Duke of Cornwall. After a few years, he was created Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester in 1958, becoming the first Prince of Wales since 1936. He embarked on a military career post his graduation and served as a helicopter pilot and even commanded a ship during his service years. He was a member of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark. He entered the navy in 1938 and served throughout the Second World War. His family connections brought him into contact with the royal family, and his engagement to Princess Elizabeth took place. Before the marriage, he received the Garter and the dukedom and since 1952, he has filled the difficult role of royal consort. Of the many societies and causes which he supports, the duke of Edinburgh's scheme for young people and his concern for the protection of wildlife rank high. Philip retains much of the briskness and forthrightness of his early naval career, and apart from it he is an enthusiastic sportsman and a vigorous public speaker. Philip holds honorary memberships in the Rotary clubs of Edinburgh, Scotland and King's Lynn, England. He is a patron of over 800 organizations, and chairman of the ˜Duke of Edinburgh's Award' for people aged 14 to 24 years.

    Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is the youngest son of <a title='Queen Elizabeth II' href='/famous/elizabeth-ii.htm'>Queen Elizabeth II</a> and <a title='Prince Philip' href='/famous/prince-philip.htm'>Prince Philip</a>, Duke of Edinburgh. He is a working member of the Royal Family and attends numerous public service engagements for charity.
